Polyoxyethylene alkylamine

Polyoxyethylene alkylamine
This surfactant has poorer penetration and washing ability compared with fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether and alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, and it is mainly used as emulsifier, dispersant, fiber oiling agent and dyeing auxiliary, etc. It is easy to be hydrolyzed by acid and alkali to form original fatty acid and polyethylene glycol. This product is susceptible to acid, alkali hydrolysis and the formation of the original fatty acids and polyethylene glycol, so the washing ability in strong acid solution disappeared, and in strong alkali solution, its washing ability is far less than the same fatty acid soap made of soap, but as a component of the household laundry detergent, its performance is still very good.

These surfactants are often used as dyeing auxiliaries and in rayon production to enhance the strength of regenerated fibers, as well as to keep the spinnerets clean and prevent the deposition of dirt.
Polyoxyethylene alkyl alcohol amides
Reaction of ethylene oxide with alcohol amides.

These nonionic surfactants have strong foaming and foam stabilizing effects, so they are often used as foam promoters and foam stabilizers. Lauroyl diethanolamine is an early appearance of these products, the substance itself is not soluble in water, and when it is combined with a portion of the glycol amine into a complex, then it has good water solubility and detergency, and it can be used as a stabilizing agent in detergents, and it can also be used as emulsifiers and antirust agents.

Polyol type
Polyol-type nonionic surfactants are esters produced by esterification of polyols containing multiple hydroxyl groups with fatty acids; they also include nonionic surfactants produced by reaction of amino alcohols with NH2 or NH groups and sugars with -CHO groups with fatty acids or esters. Since they are very similar in nature, they are collectively referred to as polyol-based nonionic surfactants.

b/ Sorbitan fatty acid esters and sorbitan fatty acid esters with water loss (span)
Fatty acid monoesters of sorbitol and sorbitan dehydrate are obtained by esterifying an alcohol with an acid. Sorbitan laurate monoesters are suitable as fiber softeners and not as emulsifiers; water-loss sorbitan laurate monoesters are suitable as emulsifiers and fiber oilers.
Commercially used span S-80, S-60, S-40, S-20, these nonionic surfactants are insoluble in water, soluble in hot oil and organic solvents, is a high-level lipophilic emulsifier. They are mainly used as emulsifiers in textile oiling agent and oil drilling mud; emulsifiers in food and cosmetic production; dispersants in paint industry; stabilizers in titanium dioxide production; pesticides, wetting agents and emulsifiers in pesticide production; co-solvents in petroleum products; rust preventive agents in rust-proof oils; emulsifiers and dispersants in food and cosmetic industry; emulsification stabilizers in emulsion polymerization; dispersants in printing inks; and emulsion stabilizers in printing and ink production; and dispersants in printing ink production. It can be used as dispersant in printing ink; it can also be used as additive for textile waterproof coating and emulsifying and dispersing agent for oil products.

c/ Sucrose fatty acid esters
Sucrose fatty acid monoester is non-toxic, odorless, dissolved in water as a transparent solution, can be used as low-foaming detergent and emulsifier for food and medicine.
d/ Alkyl alcohol amides
The representative surfactants are lauroyl diethanolamine and lauroyl propanolamine, both of which are light brown viscous and soluble in water.
